This year for the Darkness into Light Event, Davitt College have decided to organise a fundraising event. While there are no group walks this year, we can still all share the same sunrise from our local areas at dawn on Saturday May 8th.
This means getting up at 4.45am as it begins to get bright, sunrise is expected at 5.44am on the morning of Saturday the 8th. Sharing the one beautiful Sunrise with all in the Davitt College Community will be a wonderful experience of feeling connected and a great moment of solidarity.
Our initial fundraising target of €500 has been surpassed and we have set a new target of €3000 which we are close of reaching! Thank you very much to everyone who has donated to date.
