Second-year student Melissa Duffy won Sheppard's national Christ Church art competition (praised as "phenomenal") and was a Doodle 4 Google All-Ireland Finalist under art teacher Ciara Silke.
All-Ireland First Aid Winner with Order of Malta
Leaving Certificate student Aoife Deasy became the All-Ireland First Aid winner with the Order of Malta, congratulated by Principal Bernie Rowland.
Liam Corcoran Wins Irish Junior Road Race Championship
Leaving Cert student Liam Corcoran won the Irish Junior Road Race Championship 2012, earning the National Champions jersey and attracting European professional scouting.

Danielle Caldwell (3rd Yr) was selected on the Irish School Girls U-14 Team, and Fintan Murphy (TY) was selected on the Connacht Rugby U-16 Developmental Squad.
