🎸 The Story
Loosely based on Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, All Shook Up transports audiences to a small midwestern town where romance and dancing have been strictly banned. When a guitar-playing roustabout named Chad rides into town on his motorbike, he challenges everyone to wake up and start living, setting off a hilarious chain of mistaken identities, secret crushes, and electrifying rock 'n' roll.
■ The Production
Produced by Eamonn Mulderrig and musically directed by Phil Duffy, this Transition Year project saw students collaborate across all areas of stagecraft, intricate choreography, set building, and costume design. Featuring legendary hits like "Blue Suede Shoes", "Jailhouse Rock", and "Heartbreak Hotel", the 2011 show continued Davitt College's proud tradition of theatrical excellence.
