CUT LOOSE!

Welcome to Bomont. Take a look back at our electrifying, high-octane 2016 Transition Year production of Footloose in the Joe Langan Sports Hall.

The Story

When city teenager Ren McCormack moves to the small conservative town of Bomont—where dancing and rock music have been banned—he finds himself at odds with local leaders. Refusing to take no for an answer, Ren works to ignite the youth, spark a cultural revolution, and bring the joy of dance back to the town.

The Production

As our annual Transition Year musical highlight staged in the Joe Langan Sports Hall, Footloose demanded relentless energy. From high-energy gym numbers to emotional shifts between teens and parents, our cast and live band delivered a powerhouse performance that earned a rousing standing ovation.
