Davitt College students Clodagh Hegarty and Aoife Parsons were recently awarded a prestigious Excellence in STEM award for their innovative project, “The Education and Promotion of Breastfeeding to Children, Adolescents, and Adults”, at SciFest 2016.

Their exceptional research and creative approach to health education caught the judges’ attention on the national stage, demonstrating the high caliber of scientific inquiry and civic awareness fostered among students here at Davitt College.
