Davitt College student Lauren Dunne has officially reached the pinnacle of youth sport, capturing the prestigious All-Ireland U16 Lawn Tennis Championship 2025 title. Winning a national tournament of this magnitude is an incredible milestone. This title is a massive acknowledgment of Lauren’s immense talent, dedication, and hard work on the court, bringing a major national crown back to our school community. Lauren received the prestigious accolade from Fionnuala Tolster of The Connaught Telegraph at the annual awards ceremony, with the category proudly sponsored by the Mayo Credit Union.
