Thank Abba for the Music
The 2006 Davitt College Production
Dancing Queens & Charitable Dreams
Relive the magic of ABBA. Take a look back at our phenomenal 2006 charity production staged at the TF Royal Theatre, Castlebar.
✨ The Story
Straying from traditional school musicals to focus entirely on ABBA's iconic music, singing, and dancing, the 2006 production brought a loosely Mamma Mia-inspired storyline to life. It followed a young woman seeking her father on a Greek island ahead of her wedding day, welcoming three old flames for an unforgettable celebration.
■ The Production
Staged as a special charity event with entire proceeds aiding local causes, the show was made possible by the generosity of Pat Jennings at the TF Royal Theatre, John Flatley's musicians, and the Connaught Telegraph. Driven by a talented Transition Year cast and staff partnership, it delivered a spellbinding performance that left audiences dancing in their seats.
