Transition Year continues to be a vibrant and transformative pillar of student life at Davitt College, offering young people unique opportunities to cultivate leadership, build new competencies, and engage deeply with the wider community.
We were delighted to welcome MEP Jim Higgins to our special ceremonies to celebrate the diverse talents, determination, and hard work of our Transition Year cohorts. Across this memorable academic year, students immersed themselves in a rich curriculum of specialized modules and extracurricular initiatives.
“From mastering digital safety, computer programming, and peer mentoring to launching entrepreneurial ventures through ‘Build a Bank’, completing Gaisce awards, and achieving certifications in FAI coaching, our students constantly rose to the challenge. The cohort proved that Transition Year at Davitt College is truly about dreaming, daring, and doing.”
