Taking full advantage of the glorious sunshine, our First Year and Transition Year students recently took to the Turlough Greenway for a brilliant day out as part of our outdoor PE programme.

Using our own fleet of Davitt College bicycles—perfectly timed for our National Bike Week activities—the students traded the sports hall for the open road. It was a fantastic way to build up some cardiovascular fitness while enjoying the fresh air and connecting with the beautiful local scenery.

Of course, no proper Greenway excursion is complete without a well-deserved treat, and the day was brilliantly capped off with a stop for ice creams! A massive well done to everyone involved for bringing such great energy and making it such a fun, memorable trip. 🍦🚴‍♂️✨
