Craig Neir is one of our standout underage talents, and this national recognition is a thoroughly deserved honor for a player who continuously sets a standard for work ethic and skill on the court. Everyone at the club and across the entire school community is absolutely thrilled for Craig Neir and his family on this incredible achievement.

A High-Performance Pathway to the European Stage

The Basketball Ireland Academy serves as a vital developmental bridge for elite young players as they transition between the U16 and U18 international brackets. The program provides a high-performance environment specifically designed to help players develop physically while receiving top-tier coaching.

Crucially, the academy keeps the country’s top prospects firmly engaged with the Basketball Ireland Player Pathway. It has a proven track record of success, with numerous graduates in recent years going on to pull on the green jersey and represent Ireland at the FIBA U18 European Championships.
