■ The Story
Broadway's ultimate musical comedy weaves together two iconic romantic chases. High-stakes gambler Sky Masterson is challenged to take Salvation Army missionary Sarah Brown on a whirlwind date to Havana, while notorious organiser Nathan Detroit tries to evade police Lieutenant Brannigan, keep his floating crap game alive, and manage a fourteen-year engagement with Hot Box performer Miss Adelaide.
■ The Production
Five years after its initial 1998 staging, Guys and Dolls made a triumphant return to mark Davitt College's 21st consecutive annual musical production. Led by producer Tommy O'Malley and musical director Phil Duffy, this Transition Year showcase featured an extraordinary partnership, bringing together a vast student cast alongside a record number of teaching staff appearing both on stage and behind the scenes.
