Despite winter blizzards and downpours, rock 'n' roll took over the Davitt College School Hall for three unforgettable nights in spring 2001.
⚡ The Story
Set in the late 50s in the heart of the rock-and-roll era, Grease centers on two teenage school gangs: the lads led by Danny, and the Pink Ladies headed by Rizzo. Bound by their own rules, the Pink Ladies traditionally date only within the T-Birds gang—causing tension and conflict when newcomer Sandy begins to date Danny.
■ The Production
Produced by Tommy O'Malley with musical direction by Phil Duffy and direction/choreography by Peter Kennedy, the 2001 show relied on the hard work of an enthusiastic Transition Year cohort who managed everything from set design and props to publicity.

Davitt College transformed the school hall into the iconic Rydell High setting.
