Celebrating
Our Young Writers.
An evening recognising imagination, creativity and the remarkable storytelling talents of our students.
A wonderful evening
for young storytellers.
On Saturday evening, 10 October, Davitt College students attended the Young Writers Competition as part of the Wild Atlantic Words Festival in Castlebar.
It was a fantastic occasion celebrating the creativity and talent of young writers from across the area, bringing together students with a shared passion for stories and creative expression.
Our students had the opportunity to hear feedback from the judges on their stories before the competition winners were announced.
Every great story begins
with the courage to write.
Sharing your own writing is an achievement worth celebrating. We are proud of every student who entered the competition and shared their creativity with others.
Words. Imagination. Achievement.
Creative Writing
Celebrating original stories and the imagination, effort and creativity behind each entry.
Judges’ Feedback
Students listened to feedback on their stories before the announcement of the competition winners.
Recognising Talent
Applauding all those who entered and offering special congratulations to our competition winners.
Congratulations to our young writers!
A huge well done to every student who entered the competition and shared their stories, and special congratulations to our winners. We are delighted to celebrate your creativity and achievements.
