Welcome to our annual Summer Camp initiative—where unforgettable experiences, outdoor adventure, and personal growth begin.
Designed to inspire and engage students, the camp offers a dynamic blend of activities, from water parks and island excursions to creative arts and music.
Every year, over 100 students dive into an action-packed programme featuring cookery, woodcraft, self-defence, paddle boarding, sports, and beach trips. Our camp provides a welcoming environment where young people build confidence, learn new practical skills, and make lifelong friends.
Driven by the enthusiasm of our students and supported by our dedicated staff, mentors, and guest facilitators, the summer camp is a vibrant celebration of community, creativity, and discovery.

Outdoor Adventures & Trips
Exciting excursions to water parks in Athlone, scenic island visits including Inishturk and Clare Island, beach days, paddle boarding, and Killary Fjord boat tours.
Creative Arts & Cookery
Hands-on kitchen skills in cookery classes, woodcraft projects like custom clock making, handcrafted art, poetry competitions, and musical exploration.
Wellbeing & Self-Defence
Dedicated mindfulness sessions, self-defence training, team challenges, table quizzes, competitive sports leagues, and confidence-building activities.

Over 100 students travelled to Athlone for a day packed with team-building, games, water park excitement, and sunshine!

The "Ordinary" Music Video
A massive collaborative production featuring our school choir, trad band, rock band, vocalists, and instrumentalists.
Clock-Making & Woodcraft
Working alongside Mr. Brogan, students stepped out into nature to identify wood types and craft bespoke handmade clocks.

Featuring poetry competitions, a fascinating bee exhibition at Turlough Museum, and a fierce table quiz run by Mr. Larkin!

Students embarked on an exciting morning ferry out to Clare Island as part of our action-packed two-week summer programme.
