■ The Story
Set in the USA at William Ocean High School, That ’80s Show follows the senior class as remembered through the eyes of 30-something Corey Palmer. From Corey Jnr’s unrequited love for cool-girl Tiffany Houston to election rivalries, fake love letters, a Star Wars dream sequence, and a teacher scandal—all set to massive hits like Wake Me Up Before You Go Go, Girls Just Want To Have Fun, and Footloose—this show delivered non-stop nostalgic joy!
■ The 30th Anniversary Production
Marking the milestone 30th annual Davitt College musical, over 60 Transition Year students took to the stage from March 5th–8th, 2013, performing to sold-out audiences and earning standing ovations every night. Produced by music teacher Eamonn Mulderrig, with high-energy choreography by Aine Egan (DanceWorld), expert direction by Veronica Morley and Kevin Donlon, and live music by John Flatley and the Davitt College Orchestra.
