Years of History

Performing Arts is the home of our lunchtime jam sessions, traditional ensembles, school choir, and award-winning theatrical productions. Whether you are a seasoned performer, a passionate musician, or stepping into the spotlight for the very first time, there is a group, a beat, and a place for you here.

We are incredibly proud of our elite production pedigree, most recently highlighted by our spectacular school musical production of Rock of Ages in November 2025, which captured an astonishing 7 national awards for production excellence. This landmark achievement on the national stage continues a proud legacy of theatrical triumph, paving the way for our talented Transition Year classes as they prepare to bring their energy to the stage with the jukebox sensation Back to the 80s.

A Vibrant Hub

Beyond the bright lights of our major stage productions, Davitt College serves as a thriving community for daily creative expression—from our school choir and traditional sessions to high-energy lunchtime jam bands.

Our programme succeeds because of the massive dedication of our directors, mentors, and teaching staff, who push our students to excel not just as musicians and actors, but as confident leaders, collaborative team members, and proud ambassadors for our school community.
