The future of Davitt College basketball looks incredibly bright as a massive squad of 22 First-Year boys travelled to Crossmolina to compete for the school club.

For many of these young players, it was a fantastic opportunity to pull on the jersey and get their first real taste of competitive high-tempo post-primary action.

Valiant Effort Against Strong Opposition

While the scoreboard ultimately went in favour of a clinical and physically strong Crossmolina side on this occasion, the Davitt boys showed fantastic team integration and fighting spirit until the final buzzer. The game served as a brilliant learning curve for the developing squad as they adjust to the pace and structure of the competitive regional league.
