■ The Story
Set on a colorful Greek island paradise, a daughter’s quest to discover the identity of her father brings three men from her mother’s past back to the island they last visited 20 years ago. As the wedding approaches, the magic of ABBA’s timeless songs drives a heartwarming story of love, family, and friendship. While our November 2023 production stayed fiercely faithful to the original, iconic West End script, we couldn’t resist sneaking in a few surprise creative liberties—most notably, an adapted wedding homily courtesy of Friends’ very own Joey Tribbiani, which had the packed auditorium absolutely in stitches.
■ The Production
Bringing a high-energy powerhouse like Mama! to life required a monumental effort from our dedicated cast, crew, and live band. Balancing the emotional core of the mother-daughter dynamic with massive, show-stopping dance numbers demanded precision and relentless energy from every student involved. The absolute joy radiating from the stage each night captured the exact spirit of the show, making it an undeniable highlight of our theatrical archive.
