Beyond the Classroom

At Davitt College, art extends far beyond the studio through open creative sessions, stagecraft production for award-winning school musicals, and national competitions.

Open Studio & Art Club

A dedicated space to explore creativity beyond the curriculum. From Junior Cycle students experimenting with new materials to Senior Cycle students refining portfolios, open studio provides a supportive environment for artistic growth.

Stagecraft & Production

The Visual Art department plays a central role in our vibrant school musicals. Students gain hands-on experience in set design, prop creation, and promotional artwork for award-winning productions like Rock of Ages and Back to the 80s.

Exhibitions & Competitions

We actively encourage students to showcase their talent nationally. Artists regularly submit to the Credit Union Art Competition, the Texaco Children's Art Competition, and create sustainable fashion designs for Junk Kouture.
